I love Hornsea Pottery and quite often come across some really nice pieces in local charity shops but I've not seen any of these before. Marked underneath with 'Muramic Handcrafted wall decoration' by Hornsea Pottery Yorkshire England.

Fantastic to find 2 together! I have the bird one in the same colours, I think they made them in orange/purple as well. I also found mine in a charity shop a few years back. I think they were designed by John Clappison in the 70's but not made in huge numbers as they were quite labour intensive. Nice to discover your work and blog btw!

Wow, I've never seen these before. I love the glossy glaze in contrast to the matte.
These are gorgeous, I love the glossy spots on the crabs back.

Oh! It's wonderful! I am originally from Hull and remember going to visit Hornsea Pottery in its heyday! Wonderful!
